About ERC

The ERC is composed of an independent Scientific Council and the ERC Executive Agency (ERCEA).

The Scientific Council is the ERC's governing body and is responsible for setting the ERC's scientific strategy. It is composed of distinguished scientists and scholars from various fields. 

The ERC Executive Agency (ERCEA) is in charge of implementing and managing the daily operations of the European Research Council.
